Mixed Media play!

 Hello friends,
Just a quick share before I turn out the lights, it is past my bedtime!

Today while my little princess napped, I created this masterpiece.
Completing this today made feel accomplished and I am starting to feel like a true artist.

I love playing with different mediums, I'm so glad I took
Christy's workshops (so looking forward to her new one).

while creating it, I used  an old dress pattern (I had a hard time cutting it up, only paid $1 for it at a thrift store lol), glimmer mist, the sewing machine is an image transfer, various stamps (including Tim Holtz & Pink Paislee), some pattern paper, Stazon ink, paint and glitter oh and Mod Podge (can't forget that)

I hope you like it as much, as I do. I love it when
something turns out better than you expect.

Princess party

Today we celebrated my gorgeous little niece's 3rd birthday
with a party at the park.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETHEART!

I made her this card using my Happily ever after cartridge

A sparkly circle skirt and a hair clip (silly me forgot to take photos of them)

All the kids enjoyed playing pass the parcel

And helping the birthday girl with her presents

Miss A, loved her cake and was pleased her Mummy remembered the candles

The park is always so much fun!

Even the big kids had fun.

Happy Sunday everyone

Creative share

 Hello Friends...

Just popping in, to share a card I made last night for Miss Em's Teacher.
It's a rather sad day for Em because it's Mrs P's last day, she is taking long service leave to travel around Australia and
spend some well deserved time with her family.

Grace Taylor papers, old dictionary, Spellbinders spiral blossom, leaf & edgeabilities dies,
Tim Holtz ticket odds & ends stamp, organza ribbon & kindy glitz

My darling girl also wanted to give her a bunch of flowers.
she's such a lovely lady and will be greatly missed, all the kids love her.
I hope there won't be to many tears this afternoon.

Update:
While my little Princess had a nap!
I made this mini album, an extra little present for Mrs P. (she loved it)

I forgot to take a photo at home, some I snap this one in my hand at school

I also snapped this photo of Miss Em & Mrs P, when i went
to pick the girls up from school this afternoon

Happy crafting

What I did today!

 While Hubby was watching this.

The Great race - Bathurst.

And the girls were busy cleaning up their bedrooms.

I didn't want to scare you with Sparkles room. It was worse!

The girls supposedly cleaned up yesterday, but their idea of tidying up is pushing all the mess under the bed.
so I dragged it all out and told them to start again.
Yes i know I'm mean!

I decided, while it was quite to take the opportunity to
organize my creative space some more.

I know it's unfair to tease you with this little sneak peak, but I still have more to do and want it to be perfect(it is so close) before I reveal the whole space. Sean installed my ribbon holder and rails
one night during the week, I love the splash of colour it gives.

Oh and I did get a little crafting done for me, Yay!
(This is rare atm, I'm always doing something for everyone else.)

I hope you had a beautiful day.

Happy Crafting!

P.s I finally joined pinterest and have added a link in the side bar so you can follow me if you like.

I've been busy!

Trying to finish 8 of these for my brother and his friends, they're
for a motorsport event on this weekend.

This one was for a 4 month old boy.
I made them using freezer paper and my cricut.

I'm so looking forward to getting some of my crafting/sewing done.

See you soon!
